  • ‘For me, great customer service is rooted in a passion for and knowledge of the brands/products I am selling. Not only does this mean the experience for the customer is smoother, it also allows me to build relationships with them, which is so important.’ Grace Brown, Flannels

Douglas town centre manager Oliver Cheshire said: ‘We had a tremendous response to last year’s competition. Providing consistently good customer service is really important to creating a memorable Douglas shopping experience, attracting more visitors to the town and encouraging them to stay longer.

‘The nominees may be from all kinds of different retail environments but they all have one thing in common: they go above and beyond every day when serving their customers. They understand that great customer service can make a very real difference: it builds trust, loyalty and brand awareness and contributes to projecting a positive image of Douglas.’
