Her Worship was one of a number of volunteers helping deliver Junior Achievement programmes. The 'Our World' programme aims to encourage primary school children to explore global challenges faced by nations and the ‘real world’ of entrepreneurial and business-focused skills needed for when they leave full-time education and join the increasingly competitive jobs market.

This academic year Junior Achievement Isle of Man will run more than 150 classes in 18 primary and secondary schools and reach some 4,000 young people in full-time education in the Isle of Man.

Junior Achievement Isle of Man is one of four charities to benefit from the mayoral charity appeal during the 2013-2014 civic year.
