Tuesday, 02 February 2016 09:45

Her Worship the Mayor, Councillor Sara Hackman JP, together with the Mayoress, Councillor Carol Malarkey, Jon Joughin MHK and supporters went 'Deepy Dippy' on Saturday January 30 to raise funds for the mayoral charity appeal.

Their dips took them to Ramsey, Peel, Port St Mary, Port Erin, Castletown and Douglas.

A few days before going Deeply Dippy there was an opportunity to go out to sea on the Douglas lifeboat, an experience that proved memorable but, with the swelling of the waves, rendered the first citizen of Douglas a little green around the gills.
