Summerhill Glen is situated at the northern end of Douglas promenade with entrances on Summerhill Road and Victoria Road, It is a popular beauty spot filled with streams and footpaths to explore and a vast array of flora and fauna.

 

Recently upgraded, the glen now features a new dramatic lighting display, (seasonal).

 

Close to the town centre, Summerhill glen is easily accessible and has nearby parking on Victoria Road.

No, there are no suitable areas for camping in the glen.

No, to preserve the delicate ecosystem and trees, fires are not permitted. 


Are dogs permitted?

Dogs are only permitted on the footpaths of Summerhill Glen and must be kept on a lead.
