His Worship the Mayor Councillor John Skinner JP, accompanied by the Mayoress, Mrs Gill Skinner, welcomed the new principal of University College Isle of Man Jo Pretty to the Mayor's parlour on Wednesday July 6. They were joined by acting principal Brian Lister, governors' vice-chairman Bob Dowty.and governor and Council Leader Councillor David Christian, MBE JP.

Mrs Pretty will take up her post in September.
