Mayor pays courtesy visit to Lord Mayor of Liverpool

On Monday July 10 Her Worship the Mayor Councillor Debbie Pitts JP, accompanied by the deputy mayor Councillor Stephen Pitts, paid a courtesy call on the Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Councillor Malcolm Kennedy, who was joined by the Lady Mayoress, Mrs Liliana Kennedy, who led a guided tour around Liverpool town hall.

Her Worship said: 'We exchanged shields of our respective councils and Councillor Kennedy spoke fondly of his memories of the Isle of Man from when he did his teacher training in 1975 at Laxey School.'
