Fun Day to serve up feast of flavours

Families with an appetite to spend the afternoon of Saturday August 3 in Noble’s Park for Douglas Borough Council’s Fun Day will find a feast of flavours on offer - from fries to frankfurters, crépes to cakes - and a whole lot of other tempting street food.

Food will be one of the prime attractions at the event, which is being sponsored by the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company and supported by 3 FM.

Local suppliers will be out in force serving up all manner of food and drink: wraps, doughnuts, toasties, ice creams, bratwursts and everything else in between from macchiatos to Manx cheeses.

Great food, a host of free attractions, family sports races, live music and dance performances, charity stalls and some 40 car boot sales - along with all the usual attractions, including the splash zone, picnic and barbecue areas, skate park, BMX track, bowling green, café and restaurant are set to ensure a truly ‘funtastic’ fun day in Noble’s Park on Saturday August 3 from 1 to 5pm.
