Regeneration and Community Committee Chair Councillor Stephen Pitts said: ‘This year’s fun day had all the right ingredients for a great family day out: warm weather, all kinds of free attractions, a wide range of stalls, opportunities for aspiring entertainers to perform live and, of course, sponsorship once again from the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company, to whom we’re extremely grateful.

‘The Council is always pleased that the event serves to lend visibility to local charities and helps to promote their services to a receptive and generous public - all the more important at this time when voluntary organisations’ budgets are under such pressure. In short, Noble’s Park fun day is all about bringing the community together and the event never fails to deliver on that.’
